Kjell Johannessens
ceramic works is very distinctive;
powerful, dramatic and at the same time mysterious.
Probably best known for his ceramic candlesticks, Ceramist
Kjell Johannessen made his debut at the Annual Exhibition
of Artists of Western-Norway in 1976.
Kjell Johannessen was educated at National Academy of
Fine Arts, National College of Art and Design and National
College for teachers of Arts and Crafts before establishing
his own workshop in Bergen, Norway in 1978. |
